6/26/2009 - July 4th holiday will be affecting US Passport processing capacity at US Passport Agencies nationwide. Friday July 3rd, US Passport Agencies will be closed. In addition, respective regional US Passport Agencies may have reduced schedules during the week leading up to July 3rd.
6/1/2009 - New US Passport regulations implemented. Starting June 1, all US citizens must have a valid US Passport, passport card or enhanced driver's license for all travel to Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean. The is a result of the US government's implementation of the land and sea phase of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI). This new regulation does not include Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands since they are US territories and therefore do not require a US Passport.
5/20/2009 - No US Passport applications will be processed on Memorial Day, May 25 2009 due to the federal holiday. Normal processing will resume again on Tuesday, May 26.
5/18/2009 - Some US passport agencies across the country continue to experience delays in processing some US passport applications (see link below). Although many of the causes are being corrected, some applications may still experience a delay. Please consider these delays when submitting your applications for a passport as they are outside the control of National Passport.

Please consider these delays when submitting your applications for a passport as they are outside the control of National Passport.
For Emergency 1 - 2 business day processing the applicant must be traveling within five business days if the US passport is not needed to obtain a visa prior to travel or within 10 days if the US passport is needed to obtain a visa prior to travel.
3/20/2009 - Due to system improvement issues, the US passport agencies across the country are experiencing delays in processing some US passport applications. Please consider these possible delays when submitting your applications for a passport as they are outside the control of National Passport.
